for everyone
What a miss communication with the climbing guide, we were waited for him at Gunting Lagadan Hut at 2.30am, but he is waiting for us at Laban Rata Restaurant.

At last we started our summit climb late at 3.15am. We were the last group to leave the summit entrance. We knew we will late for the sunrise. With our climbing speed we managed to catch up with others slow climbers but we caught in the "traffic Jam".

Some of the climbers were on the way returning, I'm not sure whether they have had completed the climb or failed to proceed.

Today is 17th of Chinese lunar calender, suppose to have a big fulled moon. But thick fog , mist and cloudy not allowed to shine on us. We reached Sayat-Sayat Check Point at 4.30am.

Later, Tay and Fong were felt exhausted, stop over stopped to wait for them. When we reached the 8.0 km point at 5.45am. Asked some of the climbers which is on the way descenting, being told see nothing but only thick fog and misty, can't stay longer at the summit.

No strong wind blowing this time, may be my buddy Ms Windy is not with us. We decided to forget about the sunrise at the summit. Hopefully the sun light will chase away the fog and mist.

At last we have a so so looking sunrises below the Ugly Sister Peak. We kept rest and hold at the place between South Peak and Donkey's Ear Peak.

7am , Mr Sun is above our head, clear picture of the low land was seen. Fog and mist started to run after the sun light. We continue our climb and make up to summit at 7.30am.

Phewwwwwww.... our decision were right, it is worth while to wait for the fog and mist to go off. This time Mount Kinabalu show me his clear feature, best details face to face. We stayed at the summit ant surrounding almost an hour.

Amazing Low's Gully, mystery Eastern Plateau, ...
